Reginald Beauvais
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Reginald Beauvais is the founder and Managing Director of Legacy Asset Management Capital. Mr. Beauvais has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, pioneering the market with his ability to quickly identify and capitalize on an investment opportunity. Since incorporating Legacy Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Beauvais has organized six private equity funds with aggregate capital commitments totaling approximately $30 million.

Prior to forming Legacy Asset Management in 2012, he was Vice-President of Sapphire Capital from 1998 to 2008 and was responsible for over $75 million in residential and commercial loan origination, development and asset management. He has spent over two decades in the real estate business with extensive hands-on approach with structuring, risk mitigation, underwriting, and acquisitions with concise effort to minimize loss.

At Legacy Asset Management, he is focused on generating high-yield investment opportunities for his investors through his acquisition, repositioning and conversion strategies for both residential and commercial properties.  Mr. Beauvais holds a B.S. in Legal Studies from City University of New York, John Jay College.

Henry Blachorsky
Vice President of Asset Management

Henry Blachorsky has been active in the residential real estate arena for the last seven years.  He served as a loan officer for several residential mortgage companies and subsequently a front and back office manager during the residential mortgage boom.

Mr. Blachorsky investigative research and execution strategy has enabled him to identify and traced borrowers that have not been heard from in years. His expertise incorporates, working out loan modifications and forbearance agreements, arranging and facilitating short sales and refinances of distressed debt and most importantly finding conventional and creative ways to liquidate each loan.

Henry has an unusual and extraordinary knowledge of the value of a property and probability of a positive result.  He understands the underwriting and lending process and his comprehensive knowledge of mortgages combined with his people skills, managerial experience, investigative instinct and most importantly his work ethic, make him an integral and vital part of insuring the long term success of our company.

Michael Hatchett, Esq.
Outside Counsel

Michael Hatchett is a Partner at Vandenberg & Feliu LLP. Mr. Hatchett focuses on corporate transactions, including private placements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate investments, and debt and equity financing transactions. He has broad experience providing strategic advice to entrepreneurs and senior management at financial institutions, pharmaceutical corporations and manufacturing companies, as well as start-ups and family owned businesses.

Partnering with his clients, Mr. Hatchett advises on all stages of a transaction, from pre-deal planning and strategy through negotiation and execution, to financing, closing and post-closing activities. His extensive background in finance and transactional law, as well as his experience in senior corporate management, allow him to take a practical and strategic approach to his practice.

Prior to joining Vandenberg, from 2001 to 2008, Mr. Hatchett served as a Managing Director of ICP Partners, LLC, a private equity investment partnership. In that role, he participated as a senior principal in every deal completed by the firm and served as the management lead in structuring the firm’s transactions, including negotiating purchase agreements, partnership agreements, equity investments and debt.

Mr. Hatchett received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He was conferred his B.A. from Wabash College, magna cum laude, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Louis Jean-Denis
Investor Relations

Louis Jean-Denis is an accomplished entrepreneur who understands the fundamental principles of building a business from the ground-up, with his one to one approach strategies with each client. Mr. Jean-Denis has garnered extensive professional experience within the financial, retail and merchandising industries. Mr. Jean-Denis has worked as a loan officer for Pinnacle Funding a division of BLS Funding Group, prior to that, he served as a loan officer at Berkshire Financial Services, where he brokered  accounts  valued over $42M.

Steven Levy
Chief Financial Officer

Steven began his career in real estate more than 30 years ago, having obtained his real estate broker’s license at the age of 19.  After having graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, he was hired by the Real Estate Investment Division of MassMutual, working on debt and equity investments of its multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio in such assets as multifamily, office, industrial/warehouse, and mortgage-backed securities.  He received his J.D. degree from UCLA and practiced law with Jones Day in Los Angeles and Weil Gotshal in New York City.  He also earned an MBA from INSEAD in France.   Steven He has extensive experience in multifamily as an owner/operator, including acquisition, finance, renovation, management and condominium conversion. In the past decade he has been an active investor in distressed real estate through foreclosures and tax deeds/liens.  He is currently investing in and developing multifamily and waterfront residential projects.

David Frieden
Chief Operating Officer

David has over 20 years of experience analyzing and evaluating all types of real estate assets, as well as development and construction deals.  He served as Managing Director of Real Estate for Stillwater Capital Partners,  a $1 billion hedge fund.  David has financed dozens  of real estate transactions with an aggregate value of over $400 million, including first mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine loans, construction loans and preferred equity investments.  He also has extensive experience in asset management and work-outs.  He worked previously at Citigroup and Massey Knakal Realty Services.  He holds a B.S. in Economics and Math from Binghamton University, and an MBA from Baruch College Honors where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and received the Wollman Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Management Studies.
